Dawson Forest WMA Atlanta Tract  Meet inside the gate at the wetlands.

Dawson Forest WMA and other close areas.

 We will meet atthe Wild Birds Unlimited on the east side of GA 400 just before Dawson Forest Road and the Outlet Mall.  Then we will drive over to  Dawson Forest and Rock Creek Park for an easy morning of birding  in old fields, wetlands, freshwater pond, and mixed pine/hardwood forests looking for winter sparrows like Fox, Savannah, Vesper, Swamp, White-crowned, White-throated plus Song and Field.  Also winter residents like kinglets, creepers, Yellow-rumped Warblers.
